Post-rock atmosphere and swathes of synth wrap around spiky post-punk fury. A kind of sunny melancholy drenching fits of energy. Quietly optimistic songs of love, ambition and modern life played with punk vigour and a very real passion.
Duke Raoul have played alongside bands like The Futureheads, Clor, Pull Tiger Tail, The Subways and Victorian English Gentlemens Club. As well as appearing on underground compilations and podcasts they appeared on Smalltown America’s highly acclaimed Public Service Broadcast compilation series (PSB 2 and PSB 9). They’ve played been played on Radio One, XFM, and enjoyed rave reviews from DrownedinSound.
Right now they are recording their debut album.
