About me:
DULCE DANCE COMPANY The 3 year old,new company is led by Artistic Director Candy Jimenez and Co.Artistic Director Liliana Gomez.
Dulce Dance Company is here to instill the passion of dance by performing interesting, adventurous, and provocative movement full of inspiration and passion. The Company performs throughout the valley at The Herberger Theater (yearly show), Scottsdale Center for the Arts, Community Colleges, First Friday Venues such as SE VENDE, Propaganda, PHIX Gallery, Buenos Dias Gallery and CANVAS. We.. as a company believe that art inspires, heals and provokes the mind and so we CREATE & DANCE!!!!!
Dulce Dance Company is made up of ten dancers that are distinctive in their own way. Within the company they hone in their own dance identity.
Why the name Dulce Dance Company? “Dulce” is a Spanish word that can be translated to mean: Sweet, fresh, or candy. Believing the art of dance has the capabilities of being sweet, fresh, textured, and passionate, just like candy; Dulce Dance Company was born. DULCE!
