D.W.A.P is the name I ( Fiorucci Andrea) gave to this project when he finally decided to bring it out of my room. I bagan writing and recording at the age of 17 and I think that it is not lying to anyboby if I say that later I became a little fixture of the city rock scene, as a member of the band MYEIN an actually as a member of the experimental post-rock band MEDLEYJUKEBOX or Berlin Calvados.

Over the last years family and friends have received homemade tapes from the young man I was and I always thought it would be enough but even if I never would like to become a figure of the mainstream scene I have to admit that there is a difference between playing in a room and being part of the indie obscurity ambiant.
Some of the tracks I have writen so far are instrumental guitar songs, experimental electrorock or simply acoustic songs but with the writing process goin on, I have realized that I try to put the most of the hard rockin' ideas in my band and that the tunes that are dissimilar in tone and structure from those that I wrote for Myein or keep on writing for MEDLEYJUKEBOX appear on my demos. These tunes are often much more acoustic and address much more personal concerns.Even if I have recorded already two acoustic and two instrumental demo-albums with a four-track-recorder, it's only in june 2005 ,the day I bought new material to record myself, that everything became clearer to me. First I recorded a demo named "They used to call me May Bucker the fly fucker" with a four-track tascam then I played my first concert as D.W.P and asked some friends if sometimes they would help me out with my ideas if I get trouble. I started recording in august 2005 my first official cd named CHUCK MOCK, THE MOON-SPERMATATAZOON WITH THE HUGE COCK that was pressed about hundred copies in december of the same year. I decided to call the music I write for D.W.A.P post-emo nu-acoustic songwriting even if I don't know what this means but I like the idea of puttin' names on music.

Ce vendredi à la rockhal, et ça va chauffer,on se déshabillera, on dansera,etc. Au menu il y aura du pop corn, du rock fort, des carottes râpées, des soulsicces, des fourchettes en métal,peut-être un orchestre philadelphique...
