This years festival is headlined by Billy Bragg (Friday), Seth Lakeman (Sunday) and Peatbog Faeries (Saturday) with many more top artists also performing incl the award winning The Demon Barbers.

Yep, had spiffing time at the Orkney Folk Festival. It was nice to be able to chill and soak up all the Festival atmosphere. Sadly, I quite often don't get the chance to do that with the Shetland one anymore (by the way, I was laughing in the photo and was only slightly steaming!) Was very fine ta meet you. Mhari x
is this this space formerly occupied by Keith Midnight? The biggest scumbag bastard on the planet, if not the entire universe??? We really do miss his stench back here on Planet Ork where once his enormous y-fronts hung from evey flagpole and washing line as far as the eye could see. In fact it's quite an incredible view now that his skid marked laundry is no longer blocking out the horizon! What ever did happen to him? I've heard it said that he was last seen getting on a bus to Evie, but, the local folken from yonder tell me that it's probably just myth because none of their dirty undies have gone missing in months!
So.... We can only assume that...........blah....blah.....blah PS hope aatheens graand!
