About DUNCAN MITCHEL

Duncan Mitchel is a 27-year old singer songwriter from the streets of Amsterdam and Buenos Aires. Coming from a working class background, he is the first artist in his family. At the age of 12 he found an interest in music, and driven by personal restlessness began to compose. Music for him is a personal discovery, with his composition functioning as his own language, a way for him to communicate on a deeper level with those willing to listen. This search has brought him from R&B and hip-hop music in his teenage years to Latin music and funk later on. Duncan is a hybrid of two worlds, the gritty streets of Amsterdam and the artistic culture of Buenos Aires. Combining a refined form with underlying raw emotion, his music is beautiful, eclectic and demonstrates just how comfortable Duncan feels within his own chaos.
