Sounds Like
Another California folk-rock singer who drinks too much.
A songwriter, guitarist, singer and lyricist doing laid back, California cafe tunes to be listened to with a glass of wine or an ale. His influences cover much of the musical spectrum, from Kate Bush and The Beatles, to Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Led Zeppelin, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Heather Nova, The Motels, The Fantasticks, Doors, Cure, and Rikki Lee Jones. Too many to list them all. Duncan is the whole damned band — writer, singer, producer, and he plays all the instruments, although some of his earlier tracks relied on Discrete Drums. The Beatles have had the greatest influence on his music, but Kate Bush is his highest inspiration.
Hey Dunc- Excited to see you guys on Saturday at the "Davis Shindiggy". Looking forward to catching up over a cocktail. Hope all is well, miss you guys! All my love from So-Cal... -Toshski
this year, in honor of katemas, the Kate Bush Forum folks have compiled a CD, featuring six acts...and they've included "slippery" which is mine and nick "prism" crosby's.
there is a snowball's chance that kate might get one...very exciting.
I thought I better being that I dragged her all the way back our here to Wyoming. Things are going well, working with my families business classified newspaper and Gloria got a real good job here as an office manager for a kit log home building company. we are now getting ready to start looking for a home. Say hi to Janet for me.
