About me:

We are a registered 501(c)3 charity organization, originally formed to save Premarin mares and foals from slaughter. These mares are used in the production of Premarin/Prempro (hormone replacement therapy). Thousands of mares and offspring are sent for slaughter everyday. We now focus on saving horses and burros that have been abused, abandoned, and sold to killer buyers. We have also taken in animals affected by foreclosures. Our goal is to save as many as possible, gentle and rehabilitate them,and place them in loving homes. We have animals ranging from horses, donkeys, to goats, sheep, dogs, cats and birds. The ranch is owned and operated by Susan Thompson. We are able to do this by your donations and the fabulous help of volunteers. We need your help to maintain the 85 animals we are supporting!     this one is taken in  carmel california. as for the other photos above it is my dog that died last week 1/2 moka java, it has been devasting, i am sorry for your huge loss as well, very sorry. sending  hugs

    Despite there being a ban on commercial whaling, Right now the Japanese whaling fleet are in the southern ocean whale sanctuary, where they plan on slaughtering 935 minke and 50 endangered fin whales, Goverments of the world are not doing enough if anything to stop this, I urge people to boycott Japan and please sign petitions and write to Japanese embassies around the world to put pressure on the Japanese Govt, as well as your own govt. Whaling is totally unnecessary, barbaric and cruel, whaling needs to end today!!
