    Wir trafen uns bei einem Workshop im Jahr 2000 während des MuKuWo's (Musik- und Kulturwochenende) in der Jugendherberge Bad Driburg und fanden schnell heraus, dass wir uns gegenseitig gut ergänzten und miteinander harmonierten. So blieb uns keine andere Wahl, als zusammen zu musizieren. Mit eigenen Melodien und Texten (Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel: manchmal, allerdings sehr selten, wird gecovert, und einige fremde Texte wurden bereits vertont) werden Themen von zwischenmenschlichen Problemen bis zur Politik, von ernst bis heiter, von Banalem bis zu Nachdenklichem aufgegriffen und vielfältig interpretiert. Die Stilmittel reichen von der Ballade über rockige Songs bis hin zum Rap. Unverkennbar ist der christliche Background. Wenn auch getrennt wird zwischen Konzertauftritten und verschiedenen Projekten im kirchlichen Bereich, so kann man doch immer wieder "zwischen den Zeilen" hören, dass in unseren Liedern Glaube und Hoffnung eine starke Rolle spielen. Mit zwei Leuten kann man schon ganz schön interessante Klangvariationen im Live-Einsatz bieten. Da wir kein "traditionelles" Liedermacher-Duo sind, werden verschiedenste Instrumente bei einem Auftritt eingesetzt. Wer ein Konzert von uns besucht, muss außerdem damit rechnen, aktiv ins Geschehen mit einbezogen zu werden. Einige unserer Stücke wirken einfach im Band-Arrangement besser. Zum einen können wir unser Gitarren- und Bass-Spiel hervorragend mit unserem dritten Bühnen-Kollegen, der BOSS JS5 Jam Station (unserem automatischen Schlagzeuger und Keyboarder ...) ergänzen, aber viel mehr Spaß macht es, wenn wir das Publikum zur Live-Percussion überreden können (dann kann der BOSS ruhen ...) ********************************************************************* We met on a guitar workshop in 2000 and soon found out, that we would fit together quite well. So we had no other choice than starting a common music project. With own melodies and lyrics (exceptions confirm the rule: sometimes, however very rarely, we do cover songs or use lyrics from other authors for our melodies) topics are taken up from interhuman problems to politics, from serious to cheerful, from banal ones to thoughtful ones and are interpreted in various ways. So we use ballads as well as rock songs or rap songs. The Christian background is always unmistakable. Even if we separate between concert appearances and different projects in the church range, you will hear “between the lines”, that faith and hope play a strong role in our songs. With two people you can already offer a wide range of interesting sound variations in the live-employment. Since we are no “traditional” singer-songwriter duo, most different instruments are used with an appearance. Also as a visitor of our concerts you have to expect to be involved actively in what happens on stage (dancing moves or some text lines or canon singing a.s.o.). Some of our songs just work better with a band arrangement. So, from time to time we ask a a third colleague for support on stage, called BOSS JS5 Jam station (our automatic drummer and keyboarder…) But nevertheless, of course it makes much more fun to persuade the audiance for doing some live percussion (then the BOSS can rest in his box …) *********************************************************************
