Formado pelo Dj Robhinson e pelo musico Pedro Selector, o DUOMONK [ex-Monkeyz Projekt] iniciou suas atividades no final de 2005, apos algumas jams de fim-de-tarde na praia de Itacoatiara, em Niteroi. Os dois ja possuem alguma estrada, o Dj Robhinson já comandou as carrapetas em diversas festas pelo Brasil, enquanto Pedro Selector atua nos Seletores de Frequencia, banda do rapper BNegao.
A ideia da dupla e bastante simples: pegar musicas conhecidas, universais, e transforma-las em dubs viajandoes, no melhor estilo jamaicano. Ja fizeram versoes para Beatles (Dub Together), Mutantes (Ando Meio Dub), Jorge Ben (Mais que Nada), Baden e Vinicius (Consolacao), entre outras.
Dentre as apresentacoes, destaca-se o show de abertura para o Los Hermanos no Canecao, em janeiro de 2006 e a participacao na festa DigitalDubs, tambem no Rio de Janeiro, em maio deste mesmo ano.
