We're doin' it for fame and fortune //
"two producers who aren't afraid to be adventurous with feel,
arrangement and sonic choices in the otherwise homogenised world of
commercial dance tracks. It's great to see some art injected into this
kind of music" - Wally DeBacker (Gotye)
DJs interested in playing any records listed here should get in contact with us for a full promo copy. Only working DJs will be sent CDs though!
That Marc guy //
Over the past 10 years, Marc has collaborated with other producers and songwriters under various guises (Highland, Oblique, Traveller & In Motion, Rush) as well as DJs (Ivan Gough, Gavin Keitel, Kasey Taylor, Mark James).
His productions have had continuous international DJ support, taking up space in a staggering number of top-flight dj record boxes, including Dave Seaman, Phil K, Pete Tong (5 consecutive plays for 'Believe' on BBC Radio One's Essential Selection), Tayo, Paul Oakenfold (who wore out 2 acetates before being given a test pressing of 'No Way Out'!), Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, John Digweed, and many, many more across the globe.
Marc's songs have appeared on Australian, UK, European, Canadian and US Compilations, including (but not limited to), Renaissance 'Awakenings', Renaissance America, Summadayze 2001, Paul Oakenfold 'Another World', Y4K 'Tayo', and Dave Seaman's Global Underground 016. This success has been matched by few australians working in the genre.
That Luc guy //
Luc's journey began over 10 years ago as a DJ, musician and entrepreneur. After studying music at school, Luc fell into DJing and within 2 years was playing some of the best clubs and parties in Melbourne and abroad, including Welcome 2001, Onesixone, Room 680, Seven, Q Bar and Double 6. His extraordinary DJ talents soon lead him toward the next logical step... creating his own standout music. After honing his skills for several years, Luc launched his professional production career in 2003 when collaborating on an Oblique remix with Gavin Keitel and Marc Edwards.
In 1999 Luc set up one of the first Australian dance music websites of its kind, TheScene.com.au. Seven years on, TheScene remains one of the most popular and influential clubbing sites in the country.
Together //
Consider this a warning for what's in store for the coming months and years. Look out.
(Oh, and by the way, it's pronounced "due-oh-sue-doh".)
** We're looking for talented singers and musicians to work with us on new projects. Drop us a line if you're interested, we would like to hear from you. **
I played your remix of Gotye on Triple J a couple of times (so far); nice work! I had to write the spelling of your name on my arm in artline, so I've been rocking round with a Düosseüdo for 3 days.
I'm looking down the hole
You're looking up at me
You're cold and tired
that is easy to see
Lower the rope to you
a bucket and a light
Your membrane will be soft and smooth
and your heart will be mine.
It rubs the lotion on its skin
Or else it gets the hose again
It rubs the lotion on its skin
Or else it gets the hose again
Yes Precious, it gets the hose . . .
Wooooooo, oooh, oooh.
Wooooooo, oooh, oooh.
The look inside your eyes drives me from control
Evoking visions of my favorite casserole.
And if I eat your heart
I'll also bite your soul
And when I'm done with that
I'll use your skull as a bowl.
It rubs the lotion on its skin.
Or else it gets the hose again.
It rubs the lotion on its skin.
Or else it gets the hose again.
It gets the hose.
It puts the lotion in the basket.
It puts the lotion in the basket.
It puts the lotion in the basket.
Yes it does . . .
Put the lotion in the basket
Put the lotion in the basket . . .
Put the lotion in the basket . . .
. . . and it does.
Wooooooo, oooh, oooh.
Wooooooo, oooh, oooh.
The night is very cold
I'm feeling kind of weak.
I think I'll make myself a cap from your right buttock's cheek.
And then I will go walking with my little dog.
And then I'll bury you underneath the lawn.
It rubs the lotion on its skin.
Or else it gets the hose again.
It rubs the lotion on its skin.
Or else it gets the hose again.
Yes it does Precious..
It puts the lotion in the basket.
Bitch, put the lotion in the basket.
Ohh, put the lotion in the fucking basket
Bitch, put the lotion in the basket.
