Michel Dupré et Christelle Santabarbara créateurs de mode inclassables, s’expriment à travers la haute couture d’une manière décalée depuis la création de leurs griffe DUPRE SANTABARBARA en 2002.
L’un des concepts fondateurs de la marque DUPRE SANTABARBARA est l’utilisation du bas féminin détourné de son usage commun et associé à des matières caractéristiques de la Haute Couture et du prêt à porter de luxe. Par leur concept ils convoquent de nouvelles formes créatives et s’amusent de la matière dans le mouvement, l’élasticité, la finesse, les jeux de transparences, les degrés d’opacités et les formes variées de patchworks et de trompe- l’œil.
Par le biais de leurs créations ils véhiculent l’esprit « Veuve noire » d’une femme à la sensualité mystique et au raffinement fougueux qui bouscule toutes les conventions établies.
Soutenus à leurs début par une bourse LVMH et un Fashion Award récompensant leur concept innovant du vêtement en collant et en bas féminin, Ils ont reçus le grand prix de la création de la ville de Paris en 2004 et ont intégrés à plusieurs reprises le calendrier officiel des défilés haute couture grâce au parrainage de la maison Jean Paul Gaultier.
DUPRE SANTABARBARA développent des partenariats avec différentes marques et organisations (DMC, DIM, French Spirit, La maison européenne de la photographie, Illy Café, la maison Goyard, Solstiss, Darquer, Ménard, Schwarzkopf, la fédération Française des Dentelles et Broderies, Levi’s, le Printemps, Orylag, le Festival du film policier de Cognac, Valeo…). Depuis Janvier 2002, Dupré Santabarbara présentent officiellement leurs collections haute couture deux fois par an durant le calendrier de la haute couture.

Michel Dupré and Christelle Santabarbara, unclassifiable fashion designers, express themselves in an unusual way through Haute Couture since the creation of their brand DUPRE SANTABARBARA in 2002.
One of the fundamental concept of the brand Dupré Santabarbara is the diverse use of women stockings and their association with haute couture fabrics and materials. Through this concept they develop new creative forms and enjoy materials in their movement, elasticity, finenesses, different degrees of transparency and opaqueness as well as various styles of patchwork and tromp-l’oeuil.
By means of their creations they transmit the « black widow » spirit of a woman with a mystical sensuality and fiery refinement that knocks down all the established conventions.
At their debut they are supported by LVMH scholarship and are rewarded by Fashion Award for their innovating concept of garments made of stockings. They are also awarded by the Grand Prix of Paris City in 2004 and integrated several times the official Haute Couture calendar under the patronage of Jean Paul Gaultier house.
