Il progetto portato avanti da oltre sei anni da ICS Company e testato sul web a partire dal marzo 2007 sul sito www.242movietv.com assume la sua forma definitiva con la messa online del nuovo portale dedicato ai Professionisti e agli appassionati di produzioni cinematografiche e televisive indipendenti. Registrandosi gratuitamente al portale i registi, gli autori, i montatori, i fonici, gli operatori, i direttori della fotografia, gli attori e tutte le altre figure professionali del settore potranno usufruire di servizi gratuiti per la promozione dei loro film (cortometraggi, documentari ecc.), e per la promozione della loro professionalità (cerco/offro lavoro, annunci casting selezionati ecc.): inoltre su 242 MovieTv è presente uno dei database di festival cinematografici più aggiornato del web e, grazie alle numerose collaborazioni tra la nostra Associazione e i più importanti festival italiani, i registi e i produttori che pubblicheranno il proprio video sul nostro portale potranno accedere con facilità ad un circuito di promozione vasto e gratuito del proprio film.
Registrarsi è semplice e lo possono fare tutti, anche gli appassionati che inseguono il desiderio di poter fruire di un intrattenimento indipendente ma di qualità. Yeah, guess I coulda saved a lot trouble if I'd called you guys before I left LA, but the whole trip was such a last minute thing and I was so excited... hell, before I knew it Jason and I were on the bus. Anyway, after we'd missed both of our screenings, we decided to make the most of where we were, which wasn't so bad after all... here's a pic of the motel we stayed at. Believe it or not we had this whole place to ourselves... There's also a cool place to eat called the Durango Inn... great Bar B Q pork and plenty of cold beer, so Jason and I pretty much had all a guy needs when he's lost in Texas. And the local Durango law enforcement are a pretty decent bunch, just don't pee on their sacred indian artifacts, they take that stuff pretty serious. (I swear it looked like an old bathtub out back of the Durango Inn and NOT a pre-columbian, native american, armadillo jerky oven). BTW - did you know that Durango Texas used to be called West Falls, and according to local lore the town changed its name to Durango like a hundred years ago when a drunken cowboy who had recently returned from Mexico insisted that he was in Durango Mexico. Kinda makes a guy think... if that cowboy had come from up north instead of Mexico, that town just might've changed its name to Tulsa instead of Durango and I just might've made it to Colorado, maybe...Anyway, thanks again for showing the movie. -Convocatoria- Es una convocatoria abierta a todos l os estudiantes de bachillerato, universitarios o su equivalente en cualquier área del conocimiento*, se les invita a participar en el Sexto Concurso de Cortometrajes “Corto Creativo UDC ‘09” que se desarrollará en las salas de cine de una cadena internacional en TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MÉXICO los días 28, 29 y 30 de mayo de 2009, de 9:00 A.M. a 8:00 P. M Los cineastas y videastas profesionales que deseen exhibir sus cortometrajes, pueden enviarlos para ser presentados, pero no serán partícipes del concurso.
La pre-selección de material considerará, única y exclusivamente los cortometrajes que, además de exhibir una evidente situación narrativa, hayan sido producidos desde el año 2007 en adelante.
