With six members, Durant has a vast array of styles influencing their sound. All six members have a unique sound, but somehow, their harmonies blend as one. We promise it's a sound unlike any other!

Audiences across the country are talking about the 2008 MCA Awards Group of the Year! Durant is a group of six young men and women with a passion for making music and praising the Lord. With energetic stage presence, powerful vocals and a style all their own, Durant is spreading the gospel of Jesus through their unique blend of rich a cappella tradition with the influence of contemporary styles.
Durant members include siblings Melissa Lancaster, Kim Lancaster-Brantley and Anthony Lancaster, along with Rachel Tuggle, Darren Whorton and Mandy Wilson. Several of the members performed together in the group X-Changed at Lipscomb University before forming Durant. The name “Durant” comes from the Lancasters' grandfather and is in honor of his amazing Christian influence in their lives.
Because of their versatility and desire to share their music with people, Durant’s motto is “Yeah, we do that.” They embrace a wide variety of musical genres and styles to appeal to a vastly diverse audience.
Their album, RIDE received the CASA nomination for Best Religious album from the Contemporary A Cappella Society, so be sure to pick up a few dozen copies and share with your friends.
Durant can often be found as the opening act at Acappella concerts or cruising with Keith Lancaster, so be on the lookout for this up-and-coming group. You won’t want to miss them! .

Hello!!! Nouvelle selection d'amies!!! cette semaine: seulement de voix!!! J'ai fait une sélection des amis qui font de la musique rien qu'avec leurs corps (bon, des fois il y a des pédales de distorsion absolument justifié...) Mais le chalenge ici c'est de reproduire tous les instruments par sa propre bouche...hey hey!!! que du talent et des grosses oreilles! Venez écouter ça: P'tit conseil!!!: écouter d'avantage le morceaux "Oye como va" de Groove Society (incroyable solo de pseudo guitar) et allez voir le groupe français "Let Hit Be" que j'ai pas dans mes top car il n'ont pas accepté à faut des morceaux vocals ou des morceaux de The Beatles...peu importe, allez le voir.
