Well, let's see... we all have our unique style. Melissa has the Enya/Allison Krauss sound. Kim's primary influence was Mariah Carey, so she can do all those nasty vocal runs. Rachel has a James Taylor-esque bluesy sound. Mandy's influences were Wynonna and Ella Fitzgerald. Anthony is Coldplay meets the Beatles. And Darren... well, he can do just about anything... including vocal percussion.

Durant is a unique Christian group of six individuals. The group has its roots from Lipscomb University, where some of the members sang in an a cappella group called X-Changed. Upon graduation, these individuals formed Durant, which in the beginning stages was going to be a strictly instrumental group... but they couldn't deny their roots. While they continued to perform as a band, they also brought a new repitoire of a cappella music to the table. While you can definitely find Durant performing an acoustic set filled with thick vocal harmonies, you can also find them being true to their heritage through an energetic set of a cappella songs. Hello!!! Nouvelle selection d'amies!!! cette semaine: seulement de voix!!! J'ai fait une sélection des amis qui font de la musique rien qu'avec leurs corps (bon, des fois il y a des pédales de distorsion absolument justifié...) Mais le chalenge ici c'est de reproduire tous les instruments par sa propre bouche...hey hey!!! que du talent et des grosses oreilles! Venez écouter ça: P'tit conseil!!!: écouter d'avantage le morceaux "Oye como va" de Groove Society (incroyable solo de pseudo guitar) et allez voir le groupe français "Let Hit Be" que j'ai pas dans mes top car il n'ont pas accepté à faut des morceaux vocals ou des morceaux de The Beatles...peu importe, allez le voir.
