Durik the temptress is a dark ambience/noise project hailing from Madison, Wisconsin. The dark ambience is recorded by high school student Matt "10564" Rodriguez (that's me), but my friends Austin Oliver, Alletta "Plantain" Ergun, and Carlos "Lunchbox" Rios helped with some of my earlier noise tracks. We used to be a noise project called "Jackson's Butthole" (there's this extremely gay kid named Jackson who goes to our school, he was a total aasshole who though so highly of himself just beause... well... I don't know why) but that was before we had proper recording equipment and we never took anything even moderately serious. Now Jackson's butthole is basically dead and now I went on to create my own serious noise project with them being occasional guests. Equipment used to make my recordings incude, but are not limited to, a minicassette recorder, frooty loops, audacity, a child's electric piano (Me and lunchbox broke it a while back, though), random exerpts, video game sounds, guitars, slinkys, electric games, tv remotes, pillows, a cowbell, tape, cd cases, drums from other countries, bells, forks, knives, plates, x-box muisic mixer, radios, chains, fans, a wave machine, boxes, plastic bags, paper bags, a rat cage, pots, pans, spoons, pieces of paper, a pencil sharpener, and basically anything else lying around that would make good noise.
