Dust-D-Bugger the Alter Ego of german media-artist Bernhard Schipper (beside his musician personality Reverend Benn Schipper) was born in 1997 - in the beginning a title of an award-winning multimedia CD-ROM by the german artist group 'Die Aktivisten'. In 1999 Dust-D-Bugger pseudo-corporated to promote the idea of 'I'm the doorway' a series of art projects (installations and performances) related to body-art, tattoo and information technology. After ending of the 'I'am the doorway' period Dust-D-Bugger became a record label in 2003 to give artists (eg. TAE (a; b), Propellersound (a; b), HBD) a home beside the label Privatelektro. In conjunction with Privatelektro, Dust-D-Bugger was running event-series like the german 'Headphone-Festival' and 'Invisible Traces', as well was touring thru Europe together with Privatelektro artists. Due this close relationship - Dust-D-Bugger merged with Privatelektro in 2004. After moving to Canada in 2005 Dust-D-Bugger was reborn in 2006 to connect between canadian and german artists and promote their works in each continent. In these constant process of transformation Dust-D-Bugger is discovering always new opportunities. In 2008 started the collaboration with the Toronto based "In My Bed Magazine" In 2008/2009 Dust-D-Bugger took part of the "Rumpelstiltskin 3Dee" feature production by Trimaris.
