“We’d totally cut out a kidney for Levon Helm, but we’d also wanna go shopping with Debbie Harry…maybe have her buy us some new jeans”
- Paul Etheredge
Dustbowl Dreamers are poised to capture the same major label attention as idiosyncratic bands such as Wilco and The Flaming Lips. When they take the stage, it is with the same abandon as the B52’s drinking champagne out of a second-hand high heel at a converted church in Athens, Georgia.
Comfortable on both coffee shop balconies and bright club stages, from whisper to bombast, in a crisp New York Autumn or a baked Texas Summer, Dust Bowl Dreamers’ long strange trip has just begun.
