In late February of 2009 country artist Dusti Dawn
debuted on national and international country radio.
The journey has been nothing short of fantastic.
She and her debut single, Country Song Gone Wrong,
climbed to the number 1 spot on the Indie World charts,
but that wasn't the end. She also charted on the New
Music Weekly Country Main chart for 6 weeks. She made
it to the number 26 spot on the New Music Weekly chart.
This was quite an accomplishment when one considers
that she was among the likes of Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann
Womack, George Strait, Alan Jackson, and the list goes on.
She was featured with country music's biggest and hottest
acts while on the chart. At one point she was sandwiched
between Montgomery Gentry and "Big" Trace Atkins!
Many large radio stations in key market areas put Dusti
and her single into full rotation. She and the song were a hit
in the overseas markets. She was also featured on one of
the mid west's most prominent country radio stations for a
live one hour interview! As a result of promotion, marketing,
and a tremendous amount of airplay Dusti has a huge fan
base that is waiting for her second single to hit the airwaves.
Dusti Dawn and her label SASSY GIRL RECORDS send

and fans who have helped make this such a successful
journey!
