   About dustin and the furniture
growing up and staying young,
talking to plants and skinning raccoons,
feeling good and feeling bad,
thinking and not thinking

If you want to help me buy land and build a house, or if you want some more paper and plastic in your life, you should consider purchasing some of my products: (apparently the "add to cart" buttons are not working on myspace; until I figure something else out, you can just buy things here: www.sweetnowrecords.com/store.)

"in the snow again," seven slow, sad, snowy pseudo-break-up songs:

$5

and I have this CD/zine called "No Living in the Living Room" which is mostly about the problems of civilization and mainstream environmentalism. The CD is me playing classical guitar and singing; the book is explanations of the songs, personal anecdotes, rants, and an appendix:

$7

what people are saying about No Living in the Living Room:
"RADICAL AND RIGHTEOUS"
"COMPLETELY LIFE-CHANGING"
"EVERYONE SHOULD BUY THIS"

and I have this other CD called "Water Lilies" that sounds pretty good I think, with me singing over different instruments including multiple guitars and drums, and sometimes a little keyboard. Songs about being inspired by every-day stuff like deer and clocks and paintings and birds and starbucks and roadkill:

$5

and... a break-up album. "In The Snow." Sometimes sad, sometimes cheesy, sometimes funny:

$5

and "Dancing on Nothing," the spiritual tribulations of a 19 year old:

$5

you can learn more about these and other dustin and the furniture releases from the sweet now records store. or you can get them from me at a show. come to a show--shows are better than CDs.

I posted a little album with some of the photographs from my birthday show. Feel free to take them.
A lot of the photos ended up terrible because somebody messed around with the aperture settings on my camera, so sorry about the quality. Haha.

I hope that your tour is going well!

Thanks for the add. Good to see there's a recorded version of "Tippy Toe", which is one of my favorite songs of yours (even put it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lg3hhbwDZI). Me and Carly were just dancing around to it.

Hope all is well!

May 31 2009 6:26 PM

thank you my friend!
I have contemplated doing
most of the other tracks
acoustic as well and adding
those to the tracklist so you'd
get both versions.
what do you think of that?
