Hey ya'll!!! Well what can i say about myself? I am just a good old boy from about 45 miles south St. Louis Missouri in High Ridge. I am 25 yrs. old. I have lived here almost all my life. I have been singing every since the time I had words coming out of my mouth. It is my life. I have an Uncle Earl Clark who has been an inspiration to me every since i was a little boy. I remember every Christmas sitting around in my grandparents living room and singing with him and the whole family. He went to Nashville and became well known songwriter and has written for the likes of George Strait, Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, Emilio, ect. I am so proud of him and hope to be able to do half of what he has done some day. I have been writing songs since i was in 10th grade. I started out writing rock songs because that is what i listened to at the time, I had slightly grown out of my country stage at that time. Hopefully the pictures of how i dressed at that time don't come out, lol. I was in a punk/ska band that was pretty popular around the area called AnaSthetic. I played trumpet and we had a lot of fun during that time. After i graduated HS i went to school to become a Firefighter and volunteered to this day at Shady Valley FPD. Then i went on the road for my Uncle's company working on diesels for about 3 yrs. It was a very hard life living on the road and living out of hotels and working long hours, but while i was living in Virginia i started writing country because i had grown out of my rock stage after HS and come back around to the great music i grew up on as a kid. So i tried to start writing country and found out that it wasn't the easiest thing to write. I learned how to play guitar by ear and i am not the best player by any means so it was a very hard transition when almost the only thing i had played on guitar was rock. After lots of practice playing country songs. The writting finally started falling in place and I wrote "Country Bound" and "She Drives a Bigger Truck than ME" and a few others. I have been in many singing competitions around St. Louis one that was televised on a local TV station. My song country bound also made it into the top 32 in CMT's Music City Madness 2 and the Sweet Sixteen in Music City Madness 3. That is my biggest accomplishment to this day. So i hope that i have what it takes to win this competition. Other than that i went down to Nashville and tried out for Cmt's "Can You Duet" I originally had a partner that i have sang with that was supposed to go there with me but he could not make it down their, so i stood in the singles line and met up with a girl named Manda Rae and and we rocked it out in front of the first judges. Afterwards one of the guys came out and said we were the best out of the singles group they had heard all day, and later hung around to do some interviews and skits for the show. We felt really confident that we were going to make the second round but we never got the call. There were a few shots of me in the first episode of the show but that was it. So now i am getting ready for next year. That's pretty much it. This is my life, it is the dream i have had since i was a little boy watching the Garth Brooks concerts on TV and wanting to be just like him some day running across stage and jumping on to the ladders and just having the most fun you could possibly have, the best job you could ever dream of and the love of the fans who want to meet you and possibly be just like you one day. I am ready to live my dream, this is what i was put here to do, and I am not stoppin till my dream has come true!!!! Hey that could be my next song LOL!!!! Thank you all who have watched my songs and looked at my profile and read this and i hope you will see me on the road one day. Thank You!!!!
