Benmore blues band is winner of the 2009 Oklahoma Blues Society local Interational Blues Challenge! Thanks for all the support. We appreciate the judges who gave of their time and effort as well as OBS members who attended and cheered us on. We will represent Okla. City in Memphis January 10, 2010 and play our hearts out. For those of you planning to attend, see you there. For you unfortunate ones, see you when we get back. We'll tell you all about it. Last night's show blew me away. I'm sitting out there thinking "Why aren't these guys being featured as a band of the night on Saturday Night Live or David Letterman?" The quality of your music since I first heard you play (not even old enought to be in that bar playing) has continued to evolve to higher levels. Proud to know you. Maybe one day I'll see your name in lights... that would be a trip.
