Dustin Mooney was born in May of 1989 in Greensboro, North Carolina and now splits his time between Tampa and Orlando, Florida where he is a student, entrepreneur and writer. Dustin attends the University of Central Florida where he is majoring in Political Science.

Throughout his life Dustin has faced insurmountable odds and always come out on top. He has had various different medical conditions that have shaped and formed who he is today. Dustin, because of the influences in his life, never used these conditions as an excuse, they just made him push harder.

In late 2008 Dustin founded Swish News with friends from the University of Central Florida. The company is working to launch SwishNews.com in the Spring of 2009. Swish News is the collaboration of various thoughts and ideals brought together in an abstract way. With varying viewpoints they hope the arguments are exiting and stir thoughtful debate. Swish News covers a variety of topics from world and national to science and technology news, they also cover business, political, entertainment, media and sports news. Swish News offers an array of viewpoints through opinion and editorial columns on numerous different topics, including the ones listed above.

Dustin’s interests span a vast variety of topics. He is profoundly fascinated with politics, writing and journalism, media, business and technology. It was his interest in technology that led to his interest in entrepreneurship and business, which is what made him start Swish News. These interests began when Dustin was little and have remained strong ever since.

Dustin hopes to, and is already working toward careers in politics, journalism, media and business. He is an inspired individual who loves working with others and making connections. He is someone whose values run deep and responsibilities never cease. Dustin continues to work hard and push forward so that he can reach the goals he has set for himself; never yielding, never resting, never giving in.
