My name is Dustin Silverman and I've been playing piano for about 11 years. My mom basically told me that I was going to start taking lessons and I've been at it ever since. When I was in 8th grade, I ran across a CD by Ben Jelen. After listening to him, I had decided that writing music was what I wanted to do. Soon after I was introduced to Ben Folds, someone whose music has greatly influenced mine.
I'm always looking for a show, so if you'd like to jam, just say the word.
As some of you may have noticed, I have just added new songs to the profile. The new songs are personal songs that I've written/composed and finally have gotten put down. The songs you are hearing are from Keys Down (my band) EP- "A7 Somewhere." We worked extremely hard to produce and pump out the best EP we could. Hopefully it was worth the wait! If anyone would like a CD, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Joel Coon (bass) recorded EP on his personal equipment. I would like to give a special thanks and shout out to him...and his giant fro.
I would also like to thank everyone for their continued support. It really means the world to me. I will never be able to thank you enough.

apparently cylc sent out letters to students about the upcoming fall sessions and my name was on the letter and a bunch of people have asked me about it so i've been explaining over and over how much fun it is and i keep talking about lgms and how much fun it is... and it makes me miss you guys so much :(
hey man, long live piano rock! i believe return of simple deserves a spot in your top friends, because come on, piano rock has to support and encourage piano rock, no? let's take over the world together! ps seriously dig on our piano player, i say this with the greatest of humility: he is completely awe-inspiring and a sick, sick player and songwriter. a real privilege to be in his band and a real role model, i think, for other piano players. let me know what you think (he's gonna kill me for flattering him this way lol)
Hello Friend, Thanks for the add! We appreciate your friendship so so much. We are back in Nashville for a bit and, other than a few spot dates, we are going to be working hard on our new record. Blessings and we'll hopefully hear from you soon...keep checking back in with our myspace for updates....thanks again for helping us do this thing we love so much!
