Birgitta Behr is the female voice of Dust Of Basement since 1993. She wrote the whole lyrics for the "[vice versa] Opticus" and the "Come with me" albums. Beside of this her paintings are part of many DOB CD artworks.
Sven Wolff entered Dust Of Basement in 1992. He composes and produces all music of Dust Of Basement. Live he is playing the keyboards. The Roentgenstudio was founded by him.
Peer Lebrecht. After the leaving of M.S. Peer became the new vocalist in 2003. Since the Home Coming Heavens cd he is writing the lyrics for Dust Of Basement.
M.S. Male voice at Dust Of Basement from 1997 until 2002 for the cds "Re-Membrances 1998", "[vice versa] Opticus" and "Come with me".
Eric Bahrs. Dust Of Basement was found by him. But he left the band in 1995 to establish his own band Golden Apes. But he always had a good relationship to DOB and plays the live-bass at the DOB concerts since 2001.
Axel Schmieder. Male voice from 1993. He wrotes the lyrics for the cds "Regress", "Words of god" and "Remembrances". Axel left Dust Of Basement in 1997.
Dust Of Basement - The lush fusion of elektro and pop. The rendezvous between heaven and earth, where the irrepressible fire of the dancefloor meets the mood and aire of Film Noire.
The Dust of Basement began in 1991 as a Sisters of Mercy styled gothic band. Over time, the music has evolved tremendously however, and even the line-up of members has completely changed. The dust (so to speak) has settled, and The Dust of Basement is now the music of Sven Wolff with the voices of Birgitta Behr and Peer Lebrecht.
The Dust of Basement has also been featured on numerous compilations (most recently, the new comps Electro Club Attack Vol.1/2, Angels Delight, and Cyberl@b) and has remixed many of today's popular artists (including In Strict Confidence, Hexedene, and Endraum). The Dust of Basement also has extensive concert experience Germany, Sweeden, France, Belgium, Switzerland, UK, Italy and USA. The Best Of Compilation "Meridian" was released in summer 2005.
In summer 2006 Dust Of Basement decided to discontinue their work. The finally concert will be at 9th december 2006 in the Berlin club K17.
