In case you haven't noticed we've changed our name to Fidelis. After considering it for a while we figured Dust was too blah and cliche, not to mention everyone and their grandmother has that name for a band.
It's really tough trying to be original and to come up with something that really expresses the essence of the group. After a lot of deliberation and staying with my philosphy that a band name should be a reflection of what a band is about we've decided on Fidelis.
Fidelis means 'faithful' in Latin and I think it definitely is representative of what it's been like for some of us over the years. It's always been about being faithful and loyal to one another which are very important traits to me Also it helps that there doesn't really appear to be anyone else with that name. I mean c'mon there was like 1000000 Dust bands.
Anyhow don't forget to catch us playing in the Emergenza festival at the Velvet Lounge. You can find the details of that show to the left. Tickets at the door are $15 or $10 from moi if we like you enough. So come on out and to have a good time and to hear some great music.
