Dusty Rhodes was created to bring back the fun sound of the 1960s
British Invasion and Early American R&B. We showcase songs written by
Ron Ryan who has played in such bands as The Walkers,
The Riot Squad, The Blue Aces, Nassington Flyer and Ron ryan and
Friends. Ron is the composer of British Invasion hits such as "Because"
"Any Way You Want It" "Bits and Pieces".
Cliff "Dusty" Hitchcock and Dave McConnell have played together since
the early 70s. They have performed in bands such as The Bullets,
Sidewinders, Lonesome and 3. They still write songs and perform on
a regular basis. With and without chickenwire.
Bruce "Twist" is out Tazmanian connection, supplying us with those
extraordinary basslines and cutting edge guitar riffs. He is also our
resident madman and keeps us on our toes cause we never know
whats comming next.
