Dust is a small group of guys from a rocky outcrop in the north Atlantic sometimes referred to as the land of fire and ice, aka. Iceland. Born in the capital Reykjavik, the band sports some impressive names from their homeground, including Dave Dunn from the original incarnation of Dust, which toured America including a showcase at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, and having their self-titled debut mixed by Dale Penner (Nickelback producer) for stateside release to aVo whome took second place in channel 2 Iceland‘s answer to Rock Star Supernova entitled Bubbi's Band (Bandið Hans Bubba). Other members include Joakim Snær and Venni Tage from the awesome Icelandic Metal band Shogun. Dust fuses melodic vocals with punk and metal riffs. ... The band toured America's West Coast from Seattle to San Diego and also stopped by in Las Vegas in support of the 2009 album Radio Killer. They also worked with Ken "Hiwatt" Marshall on a remix of the Radio Killer track Summer for radio..
