The One That Got Away
Dusty Hundley is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Born and raised in Martinsville Virginia, Dusty's passion for music developed at a young age and so did his dream of moving to Music City. He played in regional bands in high school, and moved to Nashville in January of 2000.
Upon arriving in Music City, Dusty quickly established himself in the song writing scene by performing at various song writer nights. In 2000 Dusty colaborated with four fellow songwiters to form The Flaming Coxxx Brothers, a five part vocal group that took the writing community by storm with their creative melodies and zany humor.
Dusty has been a part of Wide Range since 2002. Wide Range is an energetic modern country band with original songs and sounds. Wide Range signed a production contract in 2003 where they recorded their first album "Almost Time" produced by Lynn Gann. Dusty sings lead vocals, plays acoustic guitar and writes/co-writes most of their songs.
Recently Dusty has gotten back to his roots doing in his words "what I was born to do" speaking of entertaining. "I love writing but performing is what I think I do best. Nothing is more exciting to me than being on stage." For a truly entertaining experience, come see a show loaded with the best classic rock, country, blues, pop and music from almost every genre. Sometimes, his crazy on the spot medleys will amuse you with modern pop that few artists attempt or take you back through the years.
You can find him most every weekend behind a microphone in venues throughout the southeast and weekdays playing the honky tonks of Broadway in Nashville.
