Dusty Muzzle are a very refreshing pop/rock/indie five-piece from london whose uber cheery presence and magic catalogue of toe-tapping, endlessly catchy tunes can only be greeted with open arms
Dusty Muzzle formed in early 2007 whilst most of the band were working as serial killers in a scare attraction in London. Che Watson and Krista Green provide the vocals, guitars and the songs having spent years individually as solo artists-
"we want to appeal and be accessable for anyone. the most important thing is the material, we just write and perform songs that everyone can enjoy, in the sunshine, singalong and dance to, no matter who you are or what you do, it’s all about fun!"
Dusty Muzzle’s first offering ’the lie corner’ (available from iTunes and all other online retailers now!) melds Che and Krista’s sweeping melodies with Peter Wheal-Jones’ eratic yet beautiful piano,whilst Jessica Crisp and Dave loney’s rhythm section provide thumping yet funky support to produce a bevy of utterly memorable tunes.
From anthems-in-waiting like ’Sleeper’ and ’Merry go round’ to the understated wonder of tracks such as ’Lucid Dream’ and ’Barefoot’ , Dusty Muzzle are really a band for the masses and definately a band with a big future to watch out for.
