Quirks...and other Random Things About Me....

I love classic cars, especially of a Chevy and Mopar persuasion . I am obsessed with architecture . I have the most amazing man . I am a major night owl . I like to jump in my car and get lost . I watch a ton of crime shows . I own about 300 DVD's . Halloween is my favorite holiday . My music collection is HUGE and VERY eclectic . I love the Southwestern United States, especially the hot dry deserts . I love to garden . I sew and I am proud to admit it . I am an artist . I am a neat freak . I have a very twisted mind, but I am comfortable with that (most people are surprised quite HOW twisted) . I love vintage clothing . I hate doing laundry . I hate to cook (although I love to bake) . I could spend hours in a bookstore . In some ways, I am a total geek . I am competitive . I love concerts . My mind is ALWAYS in the gutter . I obsess over RUSH (in case you couldn't tell) . I live for road trips (seriously?? Why fly when you can drive? I don't care if it is 3000 miles away) . I love to work on cars . I have a big heart (too big sometimes) . I have terrible eating habits .





Bass

I have played the bass guitar off and on for the past 17 years. My style is very versatile focusing mainly on rock, classic rock and progressive. My playing is influenced by many styles of music and I seem to share the same stylistic playing as John Paul Jones.

I love to play blues, reggae and anything else that follows a general scale pattern.

I am currently working on funk and BOY do my fingers hurt!...I have been playing for over 15 years and it is time. Of course learning funk on my crappy bass is a challenge, sound is bad and strings are really hard to pull, but how I see it, if I learn on this piece then it will be really easy when I get a quality instrument! No more excuse of not having a good bass to learn funk! I have always wanted to so screw it..its getting done now and I am ENJOYING the bass again :)
