EAST MAGAZINE REVIEW... THE BANDS FIRST ever REVIEW !
DUSTY ROSKO
www. myspace. com/dustyrosko
TUNES OF THE MONTH...
There’s a unique sound on their demos, but I can’t tell if it’s deliberate, or a product of a peculiar, seemingly live, recording process. There’s elements of dub and psychedelia, and the musicians are evidently accomplished, but whether the one-mic technique used here (that often relegates the drums and vocals to the far horizon of the audio) is an affectation or a budgetary necessity is maddeningly unclear. I suspect they either have some faith in bygone eras of studio recording, or are involved in some Bays –style spontaneity: whichever is the case, further investigation is surely warranted..Check out our latest shows in our Fixtures opposite ....................................................................................!!!!
