| About Dutch Dub |
Dutch Dub is my project, I am Nick deWitt. Dutch Dub began in Bellingham, Washington around the time I purchased my first four track in 1999. I write and play virtually all of the matierial on the record or CD you might be holding or looking at now. The album was recorded in numerous locations at home, and on foreign soil thanks to modern technology.
The track names are...
1.Heat Up
2.Tiger in Harlem
3.Feast Your Eyes
4.Peanut Butter and Jelly Heart
5.Exotic Fatigue
6. Dare To Dream
7.Country Gang
8.Swastikas, Fuzzy Dice and Love
9.Morris Chizer
10.Holiday
11.Dutch Waltz
12.The Language
13.The Lazy Ape/ There is a Dance to go with this, instructions later
14.Eating Watermelon in the Back of a Pick Up Truck
15.Heat Up ..2
16.Mistake Machine
17.Defeat
There are a few other people who played on this record, specifically tracks 14 and 15 and they are Nathan Thelen, Chuck Keller and Jason McGerr. I recorded a lot of it myself but the best sounding songs were done by my pal Zach Reinig (2, 7 and 12). When I am not doing Dutch Dub I am hanging out or working with my father or playing in my other band, Pretty Girls Make Graves.
