We busted Frank out of that joint today and took him for lunch at his favorite place. It was good to see him so happy. He really wants to get home for his birthday and for meatballs. When are you coming?

Well, I know Dusty wants to see his family stuff....so Ireland (which is where my dad's side is from too) and he wants to go to Luxembourg, so if there's time to squeeze in Bavaria, I'd sure love it! If not, well, then I guess we'll just have to wait til the next trip ;-)
No tracking needed :-) I've been wanting to visit my Grandma's hometown since I was a little girl, so I know all about it. She's from Schliersee, Bavaria..... How long would it take to get to one of the southern-most cities in Germany? lol
I would really love to be able to visit there if it's at all possible...I know that the apartment building that she grew up in is a hotel now, so maybe we could even stop by the hotel and I could see exactly where she lived :-)
