Festival DUTCH PUNCH-5 will take place from the 10th till the 13th of September 2009 in Ukraine. The aim of the festival is to introduce to Ukrainian audience independent and recent Dutch arts, mostly music and films, before not represented in Ukraine.
The organiser of the festival is the Dutch-Russian cultural foundation Stichting KULTPROM.
This year 2009 participants are: STOMA, ENI-LESS, RAASKALBOMFUKKERZ, DEFORMER, THE MOI NON PLUS
Four previos DUTCH PUNCH in 2005 -2008 featured artists DE KIFT, ZEA, WE VS.DEATH, ROTTERDAM SKA-JAZZ FOUNDATION, FEVERDREAM, Elle Bandita, FFF, DJ Bone, BLUES BROTHER CASTRO, AUX RAUS, THE LOW POINT DRAINS, DEFORMER, APPLEGARDEN, MALORIX, STOMA, DJ ENI-LESS, Jules Deelder, LUSHUS, RAASKALBOMFUKKERZ, BENEFIT OF THE BOOMERANG, MACHINEFABRIEK, NOBODY BEATS THE DRUM, YOB KISS, MEDIAONTWERPERS, ANTISTROT COLLECTIVE; experimental and poetical short films of Dutch filmmakers; photoexhibitions of Daniel Baggerman and René Castelijn, graphic exhibition of Bruno Ferro Xavier da Silva (Antistrot art collective) and comics exhibition of Marcel Ruijters. The festivals took place in St.Petersburg, Moscow, Pskov, Nizhny Novgorod and Jaroslavl in Russia.

Mijn expositie in de Dubbelde Palmboom loopt op zijn eind, dus het is tijd voor een feestje! Zaterdag 14 maart ben ik 's middags vanaf 14.00 in het museum. Kom gerust even langs, als het niet te druk is probeer ik iedereen rond te leiden die dat wil. Zoiets noem je een finissage.
Dan vertrek ik om 17:00 naar de EXIT, waar vanaf 21:00 het feest verder gaat. De bands heb ik met zorg uitgezocht, volgens mij is het een mooie dwarsdoorsnede van de Rotterdamse muziek geworden, en het zijn ook nog eens allemaal hele aardige mensen. Wat wil je nog meer: King Kong Klub, Rats on Rafts, Crappydog, Stöma en Deformer. Daarna zullen de Face Tomorrow Dj's (Aart en Marc) tot de vroege uurtjes de boel aan de gang houden. DJ Plato Daan zal de eerste helft van de avond de muziek verzorgen.
De toegang is maar 5 euro.
