Lexus Dutty Mouth
Lexus Dutty Mouth: Originaly from South London now residing in East London, is currently working on his second project and presents his new video "Another Way", the first track released off a yet to be named album. Having worked for RWD magazine as a journalist and Several recording studios as an engineer (Alongside DJ Luck & MC Neat), Lexus aquired a vast knowledge of the industry.
He started out recording his first track when he was 15, now 27 he reflects on his progression saying "i've done a lot and ive got a lot more tighter, i mean we all have come a long way, but there aint many that can go deep into a subject matter like myself".
During his career Lexus has undergone much artist development with companies like Urban Development (Fumin, EC Soundbwoy Ent, Shola Ama, Ignorance) and Urban Voice (Floetry, JLS, Estelle, Iceberg Slim)
Lexus first appeared in 2004 on Channel U's "U tell Us" with his debut "Giving U Lex" and then went on to win the first part of the 1mic competition (Channel U) beating both JME and DJ Ironic by public vote and then recorded his debut cd "Dutty Mouth vol.1" in 2007 that sold 7,000 units and still rising in 2008.
Lexus is currently working on a compilation album with fellow artist Kosha and Producer/Keys player Forte aswell as working on Dutty Mouth Vol.2.
Lexus has performed at several venues around London, including Cargos, Hackney Empire, Clapham Grand performing alongside Wiley, Ghetto, Alex Mills, The Thirst, NY, Big Narstie, NDubz to name just a few and has been played on Kiss FM, 1 Extra, Choice FM, Rinse FM, Pyro Radio and many more.
Expect big things in 2009 from this young man.
