About DUTTY WEEKEND DIZZEE RASCAL, LUCERNA, 16/11/09!
Predtim, nez predstavime nasi dalsi party, bychom chteli rict Big Stefovi aka Solo, ktery prijel minuly mesic, big up, Protoze to uplne zabil! Dostal se presne do ducha veci a nechal vsechny ohromene! Skoro urcite vam ho privezeme zpet!
Ale dost nedavne minulosti, pojdme se podivat do budoucna. Tento mesic mame dva opravdu specialni hosty, ktere jsme se hodne dlouho pokouseli privezt.
Prvnim je talentovana Joyce Muniz, narozena v Sao Paulu, nyni sidlici ve Vidni. Exceluje v DJingu, produkci a v neposledni rade ma velky vokalni talent, jehoz dukazem je mnozstvi jejich mezinarodnich vystoupeni. Joyce mela co docineni s elektonickou hudbou od poloviny 90.let, ale jeji kariera se naplno rozjela az v poslednich letech po jejich kompilacich u Man Recordings vcetne kolaboraci se Stereotyp, Edu K a rakouskym rapperem Skero. Jeji Djske sety se na Dutty Weekend perfektne hodi, protoze pokryvaji oblasti od Afro Beats, Baile Funku, Tropical Tech, House a vseho mezi tim, garantujici rozhybani jakehokoli davu!
Ale to neni vse, za druhe vam prinasime DJe jmenem Motorpitch, take z Vidne. Motorpitch je velice zdatny za gramci stejne jako v nahravacim studiu. Remixoval a pracoval s neprebernym mnozstvim umelcu jako Tobillin, Tonka, Kraak and Smaak a dalsimi.. nejcasteji je ale ve studiu partnerem DJe Beware, se kterym maji The Beware & Motorpitch project, jez se v soucasne dobe chysta vzit utokem svet tanecni sceny a blogu. Motorpitch stravil dva mesice na Jamaice, kde si vydelaval nahravanim duplates od tech nejvetsich jmen mistniho reggae. Z teto navstevy si odnesl postoj a vasen, ktera zari skrze jeho DJske sety.
Tento mesic mame dalsiho ceskeho Dutty Weekend debutanta, jehoz jmeno je Tommy Vegy, puvodne ze slunneho Havirova. Tommy he jeden z nejsympatictejsich typku ceske tanecni sceny a k tomu jeste skvely DJ.
Takze vsechno tohle a samozrejme i vasi rezidentni hraci, Quime a Tuco, kteri pojedou az do brzkych hodin nedelniho rana.
Firstly before we break down our next party, we have to big up the Big Stef aka Solo who came down last month and killed it as the night unfolded the events that took place made it one of our best and craziest parties so far! He got right into the spirit of things and left everybody pretty impressed! We will definitely bring him back at some point if only for those of you who missed it!
Anyway enough of recent history lets look at the future, this month we have two really special guests who we've been trying to book for a very long time.
First up is the talented Joyce Muniz born in Sao Paulo but now based in Vienna she excels in Djing, producing as well as vocal talents, proof of which can be seen in her schedule of international gigs. Joyce has been involved in electroinc music since the mid 90's but its recent years where her career has really taken off after her releases on Man Recordings including collaborations with Stereotyp, Edu k and austrian rapper Skero. Her Dj sets fit in perfectly with Dutty Weekend covering all areas from from Afro Beats, Baile Funk, Tropical Tech, House and everything in-between in shot she is guaranteed to move any crowd!
Thats not all though, secondly we bring through Motorpitch to make this a Vienna double bill. Motorpitch is as handy behind the boards ad he is behind the decks having worked with and remxed a whole array of artists from Top Billin, Tonka, Kraak and Smaak but most commonly partnering DJ Beware in the studio for the Beware & Motorpitch project which is currently threatening to take the blog/dance music world by storm. Motorpitch spent a two month stint in Jamaica earning his living cutting dubplates for some of reggaes top names bringing back an attitude and a passion that shines through in his sets.
This month we have another Czech Dutty Weekend debutant by the name of Tommy Vega, originally from sunny havirov Tommy is one of the nicest guy in Czech dance music and a great Dj to match it.
All that and of course your resident spinners, Quime and Tuco will keep things going until the very early hours of sunday morning.
