About me: Nowadays is very common for people to call themselves "artist". I'm not an artist. I'm certainly trying to be one, but I'm person that live through art. I love art, breath it, sleep it, dream it, eat it.... and I'm scared of it. Art can suck you in itself, chew you and spit you out without any warning. No, it's not like this, but it sound great for me.
Now, I'm actually flute player. I'm struggling with that whole my life, since 1989. So my path was ups and downs, and music, music, music. In one period of my life I wanted to become photographer or costume designer, but music again took victory.
Baby steps in elementary school, than great time and great people in high school, than academy, work.... You see, everything was planned for me. I'm one big plan maniac.
And then...
I realized that I'm bored. Every day was the same. Boring! So it was the time to make some steps to prevent boredom for the rest of my life. And new plan was made. No more plans.
I packed my luggage and came to US. OK, now I need to do everything from the beginning.
I had great life. I played in two great bands, had favorite coffee house, great coworkers (not so great boss, but that is whole new topic) great students (they are so precious and I really miss them), so almost everything that a person need to be happy. But that wasn't enough for me. I always want more.
Now I have great life in some other (read foreign) country, new great friends, new favorite coffee house, no new students (I don't want to teach right now), and a great possibilities for personal improvement. We'll see what will happen, the greatest thing about whole this is NO PLAN!!!
and I make mistakes so what?
