About me:
Distribution Video and Audio (DVA) is a family-owned and operated business specializing in the entertainment industry.
History
Distribution Video & Audio (originally called DVI) started in 1988 by selling used videos for new store openings to video rental chains, such as Hollywood Video and Blockbuster Video. Back then we sold 100,000 units a year; today we sell some 10,000,000+ units per year.
In 1995, to keep up with trends in the entertainment industry, and to stay at the forefront of current technology, we expanded our company into three separate divisions: Consumer Sales, Library and Government Sales (dvalibrary.com) and Liquidating & Wholesaling (distributionvideo.com). In 2003, we added our Special Markets division (www.dvaspecial.com). Whereas our Liquidating and Wholesaling division services large national chain accounts, our Special Markets division is specially designed and staffed to provide the very best inventory, prices and service to mid- to small-sized general, discount and specialty retailers and Internet retailers and resellers.
The Special Markets Division of DVA started in February 2003 when we realized that our breadth of products, over 10,000 titles, could be of great value to many varied niche retailers. We have expanded our customer base to include every type of bricks and mortar retailer from Museum Stores to Dollar Stores, on-line web site retailers, home-based on-line sellers and even flea market vendors. Our continuously changing inventory allows them to appeal to a broad range of customers with new and exciting titles.
The department now has five full-time employees and services hundreds of accounts. We hope to continue our growth pace of over 50% per year by offering exceptional value on popular products for your customers, and excellent customer service for your business.
As one of the largest buyers of excess video and audio inventory in the United States and a leading entertainment wholesale company we have close relationships with clients both large and small . And over the years we have earned an enviable reputation for honesty and integrity throughout the entertainment industry.
To service our many clients, we have offices in Los Angeles, California and Palm Harbor, Florida, and we maintain our own warehouses.
Beyond all else we give personalized service that some of the larger distributors cannot give. There is always someone in the office you can talk to or email during business hours.
