DON VITSENTZOS studied classical music performance at the University of California at San Diego under the direction of Phillips recording artists Celin and Pepe Romero where he was exposed to all forms of traditional Spanish and modern guitar repertoire.
He records and performs regularly in the New York area with various artists. He also studied classical Indian music with the world renowned violinist Dr. L. Subramaniam and records and performs with one of India’s foremost sitarists, Aloke Das Gupta.

The music that you will find here is generated by the pursuit of the perfect sound, sometimes attainable for only a fraction of a second. That fleeting experience draws one inward as sound pierces mysterious regions in our mind, heart and consciousness; realizing then that the sound one hears is simultaneously within and without. Sounds that calm, sooth and motivate allow the listener to quiet the mind and senses resulting in access to regions of consciousness which are not normally possible.
Frequent and consistent access to these regions allows one to refine the focus of the consciousness and produces grater clarity in the mind and heart. Ones loss of ego can occur in these times as the mind and consciousness are transported through time and space. This experience is not limited to eastern mysticism as western musicians have long known the power of music over the mind and senses.
Simple concepts such as composing in a minor key produces a seriousness or sadness that can be profound as much as a major key can create feelings of well being and inspiration. Here we attempt to integrate the magic of both east and west through meeting in that place of transcendence.
We hope to lose our egos and put forth a vehicle that gives access to a world meant for all where one experiences transcendentia in all.
