Sometimes only the piano knows how she feels. As she sits in life’s brightly dark empty crowded hall. Sometimes the only difference between fiction and reality is that fiction makes more sense at least the more of it she can recall. Sometimes writing is the only thing that when she does it It doesn’t ever feel like she should be doing anything else at all. Sometimes her words chip away the paint n plaster of her Great Wall of emotional disaster. She trusts no pastor. She has but one master. N if she was only given 6 months left to live she wouldn’t worry, fret or brood. She’d just learn to write a hell of a lot faster. I love her more than my life loves itself. I love to watch her mind expand into truths beyond herself. Sometimes her light is the only light my blind mind can find. I often trail the glowing streams to find the source of what that light shines behind. Her words are scattered sparks dripping to the bottom of the page. Accumulating into a fire of thought that burns my mind. N I use that glow to throw back reflections of light. Lighting the dark with the words of her piano.
