“The Gateway to the Good Life” by D. Walk is a pleasantly crafted collection of melodic-rock tunes. From start to finish, this album exhibits vibrancy and personality. Every song successfully conveys the emotion attached to the song’s message. The mood throughout “The Gateway to the Good Life” is filled with passion and sincerity. Lyrically, this album very articulately relates messages of love and finding deeper meaning. “The Good Life” shows great creativity, starting off slow and somber, then switching to powerful electric guitars. Overall, this album is a must-hear from those who love great rock music with a hint of indie flavor.

Derek Walker was kind of a nerd in high school, he always got beat up and stuff, not to mention he has had a crush on the girl next door ever since he was a kid. One day while he was at a field trip at a science lab of some sort, Derek felt a small pain on his neck. Upon further researching this small pain, Derek looked on the ground and found a mysterious looking spider frantically crawling away. "Dang, I just got worked by a spider," Derek thought secretly. Later that night, he became really buff and started throwing things around his room. The next day, Derek discovered that he had the potential to have musical ability. All he had to do was go into a phone booth and spin around. After doing so, he was buff again and he could play music. So he decided that while he was musical, he would go by D. Walk. And when he's not, he would go by Derek Walker. And that's why this is the bio of D. Walk... Now that you've read it- you should buy the CD. For fans of: BRAND NEW, COPELAND, and SPILL CANVAS.

Hey Derek! I love the new song, but you didn't write it for me. You should write a song about me someday though. That'd be sweet. Why is it your last song ever. Well anyways, you need to come back to Snow Hall. It isn't the same without you. Love you Derek!
Derek! Your farewell is in an hour and fifteen minutes and I was supposed to ride up with Cindi but she won't answer her phone. So I will try real hard to make it and if I don't I'm sorry in advance.
