D. Watts is a singer/songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama. Her entire existence can be summarized by the quote from Bill Johnson's book, Face to Face with God, "The only true worship is extreme worship and only extreme worship brings extreme results-transformation."
Her life has been radically transformed by a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and now the only response to this transformation is transforming the life around her with His love through her music, her writings, and her voice to a world that has deafened its ears to Him.
In 2005, she released her first album, My Own Way. In 2007, she released Brand New Start, and she is currently working on album number three which will reflect the heart of true worship of the Lord God Almighty.
When D- sings, she incorporates biblical teaching along with the songs. Each song is a story of God's love, or mercy, or faithfulness and you cannot separate the music from the Word. So, when you see her, you have music that touches your very core by the Spirit of God because all she cares about is your life being transformed by His Word.
