A video I made, dedicated to Dwight :)
About me: This page is devoted to the amazing, multi-talented Dwight Frye. Since his webpage has been down for quite some time, I decided to create a myspace for fans of Dwight to come and share their stories, pics, videos, updates, discuss his films, etc. Few are aware that, along with his mesmorizing portrayal of Renfield in Dracula (1931) and many other colorful film roles, Dwight also achieved Broadway stardom and was a brilliant concert pianist. So, this page will hopefully play a part in giving him the recognition he fully deserves.
It’s that most transcendent time of the year which means the witching hour will soon be at hand. Time for all my dear ghosties and ghoulies to materialize at the old Alexander Ranch homestead again!
..
We begin at the Stroke of Midnight as October 31st turns to November 1st and thus All Hallowed Eve shifts to All Saints Day and the Dead of the Dead. Twice the holidays, twice the fun. Of course Spirits will be provided…..
..
I hope you won’t mind pot luck….
..
And as we dance by the light of the moon, may a splenderous time be had by all!
I am sure that many of Dwight Frye's fans are aware of the fact that he passed away, sadly, on November 7th. 1943.
This coming November 7th. a small group of Dwight fans have decided to hold a rememberance for the actor at "Gratefulness. org" by lighting a candle there and leaving a brief message.
The candles will be joined together in a group under Dwight's name.
If you'd like to contribute a candle, please visit the following site during the afternoon to evening hours of November 7th.
The long presumed "lost" Dwight Frye movie "Circus Queen Murder" (1933) was aired on Turner Classic Movies Oct. 13. Did anyone tape it? I'd like to buy a copy. Does anybody know when it will air again?
