D.W.I is NYC's 1 Underground Producer. Born in hip-hop's originating borough, the Bronx, D.W.I Muzik was reared by a musically-inclined family.
He was destined to explore and employ his artistic talents. Under his uncles' wings, he learned the ins and outs of mixing. Before long, his tapes developed notoriety in their own right. After five years of working with two turntables and a mixer, D.W.I Muzik ventured out to conduct basic MIDI sequencing and production. Eager to pursue formal training, he studied Audiovisual Technology. He performed odd jobs in order to save money. His hard work and discipline paid off for, in a few years, he realized his goal of becoming a self-made producer/engineer.
