Hey Zak, here is a photo of the Eel River at about 2100 CFS on 032908. We ran some excellent Class 3 whitewater. The water temp was very cold! Camping was good. We got rain one night. We saw bald eagles. Missed you though. Maybe next year. Best wishes to you, caylerp

Flows are looking sweet in the Eel Rvr Country. Warm weather too... The only sound I want to hear right now is my boat going "splat"!!! Let's float soon.
Z-man, our encounter with the bear mama and two cubs is best wildlife river moment that I have had in many years. When the bears swam across the river right in front of us, I was thinking to myself, "I am so stoked that Zak has his camera because no one would believe that I was so close to these beautiful wild animals."
