I'm a computer guy. I do enjoy my work. I also like music, theater, opera, camping, long walks, people, amusement parks, roller coasters, cooking, entertaining, and time spent with someone special.Music
Wow.. I like a lot of different music. Anything from POP to Alternative, Rock, Classic Rock, Opera, Show Tunes, Classical, and everything in between. I'm pretty much a music whore. I do draw the line at some of the really harsh Metal and any Rap song that is all about hate.Movies
Again.. a really broad range here. Anything from the classics like Casablanca, The African Queen and To Kill a Mocking Bird to Fantasy like Narnia, The Rings Movies to Sci Fi like XMen, Matrix, to Animation to weird stuff like The City of Lost Children to cheesy old Sci Fi with big bugs that eat cities.Television
Oooo... not much here. There frankly isn't much on these days. I do like some of the odder things like the old Six Feet Under series, Family Guy (love that Stewie) to Robot Chicken or Futerama. Oh yeah.. and I do like Jon Stewart and Colbert. Really enjoy the Poirot and Marple stuff on A & E.Books
Love to read! Short stories like The Whore's Child to classical like Shakespear to Sci Fi like the Foundation Series or anything by Azimov, Fantasy by Mercedes Lackey or history such as Fat Man and Little Boy. Just finished the last Harry Potter book and a biography about Charles Steinmetz. Not sure what to start next. Hmmmm...Heroes
This is a tough one. There are so many. My Mom because she lived through a literal hell and endured so much and still taught us to laugh and love and appreciate so much. My Step-Dad because after growing up with an abusive father, he taught us that being a man didn't have to mean hitting and hurting and humiliation or marks that you kept hidden from others. It could mean being gentle, funny, caring and accepting. If you were to ask me who I'd like to meet from the past, I'd have to say Julia Child. Yeah.. the lady with the wacky cooking show. But her mom was the first woman to have a drivers license in California. Julia was one of the first women to hold a job as an executive, she served during WWII as in the spy service, wrote the first French cookbook and created the very first TV cooking show. She never let the fact that she was a woman stand in her way. She lived her life her way until she died in her 90's still self sufficient and loving her life.

David,
Well, I wanted to compare you to your plum pudding and make mention of your layers of flavor and being full of sweetness.
Then I realized that it could be construed as something rather naughty.
Nonetheless, I'd hope you take it in a sentimental way!!
Much love to you, and Happy Valentine's Day :-)
