I wish you an enjoyable weekend. We're going to Hiawassee for the Percy Sledge, Clarence Carter, and Tams concert. Have a suite with a private balcony overlooking Lake Chatuge. If our temperamental weather cooperates, I'll have photos to share from the azalea garden and pioneer village.

I hope y'all are ok. Haven't seen you post in awhile. Looking forward to next one.

    Take care

Hadn't visited your profile page in a while, but thought I would today. It was worth it... was reading your blurb about yourself, and the final line " I love my wife more than life itself", and I am reminded again of just one of many reasons why I so adore you and Julie !!! I love that you two so love each other.... it makes me feel good !!!

We finally have some sunshine! It's like Mother Nature is crying over us lately. My yard doesn't look like it will ever be dry again--but, of course, we know the dry is coming soon.

Hope you and yours are well.

Shirley

Thank you Dave for those lovely, helpful words.

I have printed them off and will keep them alongside some words Tikarma sent me.

Then, when I need them, I can read again.

Thank you to both yourself and Julie,

    Your words are appreciated.

    And I won't drink.

My mother told me she preferred my first book to my second - too many words in the second one and not enough poetry. She wanted me to publish a third one - just poetry. That I will do for her.

My very best to you and all your family for 2009.

Occasionally, just for fun, I write limericks - I thought you might enjoy this one -

There once was a parrot called Barney
who had kissed on a stone called the Blarney.
    He met with a banker
    and learnt to say wanker.
Great wisdom is taught in Killarney.

    Take care
