About me: Doublewide Skate and Surf Shop originally opened its doors in 2004, in an actual doublewide trailer! Located beside the Skate Barn Skate Park, The shop has since moved into a building on Hwy 17. Owner Jimmy Ellington had a vision to create a scene in small but rapidly growing community and has steadily been giving back, providing skateboards, surfboards, and a skate park for all. In 2008 Doublewide opened its second location in Downtown Wilmington, NC. Doublewide Skate Shop Downtown is the regions only core skate shop! Both stores and the skate park are owned and operated by true, 100% surfers and skaters, go check the knowledgable staff out for your next board and support your local shop!

Alright people, here's the deal.... The finals for the battle of the bands at PCP are this saturday (the 9th) and we need as many people out there that we can get to support us. NONE of the bands know what time slot they're getting, we all have to be there at 6:30 to draw straws and then we'll know when we're playing. I think the show will start around 7, and there will be 8 really good bands for a very low low price. So if you get there early and stay all night, you'll get the most bang for your buck and will be guaranteed to catch us. All we want is for you to scream a little bit louder and party a little bit harder when we're up to play.
FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT CAN'T BE THERE THE WHOLE TIME AND WANT TO CATCH US: Send us your cell phone number to enlist in our text announcements group. We won't share your number, but will text you to let you know when we're going on so you can head on out. Also, you will get the return number of a member of the band so you can bug the hell out of us any time you want!!!!
