The universe has always captivated us by the law of affinity... and as it would collide, two prodigies of the craft would meet. Brooklyn, NY - Fall of 2009; an innovative local guitarist, Adam Edgemont, met an equally talented guitarist from abroad, Peter Luetzeler. The duo began crafting a sound that few could emanate yet thousands would be certain to love. It's complexities rampant in melodic swells of masterful progressions, their styles molded an elegant sound. Choosing the name "Dyed In Grey" they began to define the new era of progressive metal. Drawing from a variety of influences and styles, their goal; to create melodic leads over technical grinding riffs with uniquely voiced guitar parts. After many long months of auditions, searching for a vocalist, they had at last found the essential match. A vocalist that could not only capture the sheer brutality and speed of their sound, but also one who could infuse dynamic beauty into their melodic phrases. This vocalist was Mark Wellington, a veteran musician from the local Brooklyn Metal/Hardcore scene known for his former projects "Embracing Chaos" and "Crave The Air". Together, they have been evolving and improving what is surely to be the new breed of preeminent metal pioneers. "We hope you enjoy the tunes and keep listening! The future will be fun and exciting and we need all of your support to make it happen!" - Dyed In Grey
