R.O.M.E. is a 24 year old native of Birmingham, AL. At the tender age of 12 he began to realize his ability to incorporate metaphors, double syllables, quotes, and his environment into a 16 bar verse. He also found satisfaction in making the music for his lunchtime cypher with fellow classmates. Seeing it as means to a better life, he began following the moves of southern independent music moguls such as Master P, Tony Draper, and J. Prince to name a few. Noticing a pattern of ownership within each entity, he always envisioned himself as the Sole Proprietor of one of Rap's biggest record labels. 6 years later his dream would begin to materialize.

In 2003 R.O.M.E. founded the label Dynasty Enterprise Music Group with his business partner and manager Junior Houser. He also started a production company called SSC Productions using his initials as his moniker. Over the next 4 years he would go on to release 6 successful mixtapes including his Dynasty Enterprise Underground Mixtape series and flooded over 70,000 through the streets and internet. In the summer of 2006 he appeared on the Underground Talent Mart (UTM) TV Show in Atlanta to debut his song "We Don't Dance" to 19 markets including New York, St. Louis, Birmingham, and Hawaii. The performance led to several club dates and performing for the likes of Grand Hustle, Juvenile, Da Brat, and producer Shondrae to name a few.

In the early winter of 2006, the debut from the DEMG label titled R.O.M.E. & DY Enterprise Presents "We Takin' Over" was nearly completed and slated for a March release. With collaborations from Bigg D of Da Original Too Deep and stellar production from SSC Productions, over 40 tracks were recorded for a 17 slot album. The remaining material, exclusive freestyles, and remixes were released January 27 with the South's 1 DJ, DJ Smallz "Mr. Southern Smoke". The DJ Smallz & R.O.M.E. Before The Takeover mixtape contained the singles "What It Is" and "I'm Tha Man" off the upcoming album and received a 3.5/5 review in the June issue of Ozone Magazine.

Shortly after the release of Before The Takeover, R.O.M.E. was contacted by an executive at J Records with a proposed album deal for six figures. Feeling that ownership and creative control was more important than money and fame, R.O.M.E. decided to turn down the offer and get back to the drawing board creating a self-proclaimed masterpiece. The We Takin' Over album was scrapped and The Takeover began. Feeling the added attention from the media and label insiders, R.O.M.E. decided to take his game to the next level in order to solidify his position as one of the most talented upcoming rap artists from his region.

With cosigns from several key industry players, R.O.M.E. was hand picked by DJ Smallz and others to lead the movement for the new generation of southern artists to stabilize Hip Hop's growing southern genre. With future appearances on Fear Factor mixtapes, an undeniable flow, compelling passion, and razor sharp lyrics, R.O.M.E. is poised as the next best thing from the South.
