Dying Breath started with two brothers, Michael "MURPH" and Joe Murphy jamming on Metallica and Sabbath tunes in the back of Joe’s house in late 1999. About mid 2005 Noah Richeson joins the line-up as lead vocalist. Fronted with a deep growl we were soon seeking out our first show. After our first show at Grinder’s Coffee House we played multiple shows at the Wildcat Saloon, Blaire’s Little House Of Music, Heavy’s, Uncle Pleasant’s, Birdy’s, the Henderson Riverfront, and Oxygen Night Club. We have played shows with LTC, Deliver Us From Evil, Ten Fathoms Deep, Anthem For A Masacre, and many others. After a number of shows under our belts, we decided to re-group and write some new songs. Richie "Rich" Warren was added as the bassist in July 2008. Richie brings a surprising new outlook to the band and we are stronger than ever. We do not know what the road has in store for us, but the music is well worth the ride. We have survived many "musicians" that have tried to rip this band apart, yet here we stand. Dying Breath can't fit in a mold and will not conform. The music we play is simply what we like to play. Inspired by the greats, metal is where our hearts are and the music is what we live for. Where we go from here is only the beginning. We will see you there.
